Centre for Feminist Legal Studies Lecture Series
This lecture series normally takes place during term time on WEdnesdays,
12:30 1:30 p.m.. Occasional lectures also take place at other
times during the year. The lunch-time sessions start off with presentation
by invited guests and develop into wide-ranging discussions. Speakers
include academics, lawyers, judges, and community workers offering
a variety of feminist perspectives on the legal system.

Past Lecturers
Past speakers in the CFLS lecture series have included Canadian
and international academics, lawyers, judges and community workers.
We have been fortunate to have presentations from distinguished
visiting scholars to the Faculty of Law. The mix of national and
international speakers, theory and practice, and lively discussion
makes the series a welcome enhancement to the study of law at the
Faculty of Law.
