J.D. ProgramThe J.D. program at UBC introduces students to the Canadian legal system, provides them with a solid grounding in legal methods and processes, and prepares them for a career in law. A three year degree that usually follows a bachelors degree in some other field, students entering the first year of the J.D. program take a fixed set of courses. In second and third year there are 5 required courses plus a 4 credit seminar or a directed research. Students at UBC may tailor their program to suit their interests, choosing courses from among the widest array offered at any law school in Canada. Admissions Information
