ScholarshipsUBC Law is committed to academic and extracurricular excellence. Students are rewarded with generous award offerings. Scholarships for the J.D. or LL.B. Program Graduate Students Scholarships Entering StudentsUBC Faculty of Law offers a number of entrance awards for which all prospective students are automatically considered. There is no need to fill out a separate scholarship application for these awards. A complete list of all entrance awards thus administered by UBC Law can be found at http://www.law.ubc.ca/prospective/financing/scholarships/assigned.html. Some Entrance Scholarships require a separate application be submitted. These awards are based primarily on proven scholastic ability. We suggest that interested individuals apply for these Entrance Scholarships simultaneous with their application to UBC Law. The deadline for Entrance Scholarship applications is December 1st. A complete list of Entrance Scholarships requiring application can be found at http://www.law.ubc.ca/prospective/financing/scholarships/decapplications.html. A third category of Entrance Awards, based primarily on non-scholastic merit and other considerations, is adjudicated after students have been accepted. A call for applications for these awards will be sent out in mid-summer. A complete list of Entrance Awards requiring summer application can be found at http://www.law.ubc.ca/prospective/financing/scholarships/sumapplications.html.
