Law Student Helps Others through Yoga and Advocacy
"Yoga is about freedom and the alleviation of suffering. Insite strives to reduce suffering and builds social capital with some of the hardest to reach people in society, opening doors to resources they might never reach," explains second year law student Geoffrey Wiebe who has been offering yoga classes for UBC Law students, staff and faculty all year with proceeds going to benefit Insite - the supervised injection site run by Vancouver Coastal Health.
