UBC Faculty of Law and Hebrew University Faculty Exchange
UBC is pleased to announce a faculty exchange program between the UBC Faculty of Law and Faculty of Law at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Starting this September, and for the next two academic years, both faculties will host a visiting professor from the other school, who will undertake a six to seven week short-term course or seminar in a topic of their choosing.

Benjamin Perrin Recognized by Human Trafficking Survivors
UBC Law Assistant Professor Benjamin Perrin is one of the inaugural recipients of the "Glendene and Jessie Foster Award" for his outstanding work in and dedication to combat human trafficking. The award was created by "Walk With Me", a non-governmental organization based in Toronto and founded by a human trafficking survivor to help others trapped in exploitation.

Professor Sarra Named Distinguished Scholar in Residence of the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies
UBC Law Professor Janis Sarra was named Distinguished Scholar in Residence by the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of British Columbia, effective April 1, 2010. Professor Sarra will hold this honour for one year, during which time she will commence a major interdisciplinary research project titled "Values beyond Price: Human Agency, Ethics, Responsibility and Fairness in Securities Law".
