Class of 1961 ReunionSubmitted by Thomas H. Hara Q. C. ('61) After the tour of the school, the group adjourned to the Point Grey Golf and Country Club for cocktails, a formal class photograph and dinner. Classmates then took to the mike and told interesting and humorous stories of their experiences over the past 50 years. This class produced 16 judges, a co-author of the Supreme Court Rules, an Ambassador to eight countries and Director of Legal Affairs for Canada, the author of the ultimate text on Banking and Payment, two Coroners, an Order of Canada and B.C. and a host of Queen Counsels. Needless to say, there were many great stories. A skit about the Social Credit Party was reprised by Bradley Crawford with the chorus sung by the entire class. The sound of music resounded in the room, much to the enjoyment of everyone. The evening was a joyous and sentimental journey to 1961 when the class graduated from the law school. The following Sunday, there was a brunch so the group could meet in a more casual setting. All the classmates left with a renewed sense of collegiality and agreed to meet again.
