Deadline extended for CBA Mentorship Program

The Canadian Bar Association and UBC Faculty of Law are currently accepting applications for the mentorship program.  This program matches up law students with practitioners in order to provide students with a perspective on the profession outside of the law school environment.  This is a great opportunity for students and practicing lawyers to meet and build lasting relationships.

The initial meeting between students and mentors will take place at the Mentorship Reception, which will be held on October 22, 2009 at the Law Courts Inn from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

If you would like to participate and feel you would have the time to meet with a student at least a couple of times over the year, please complete the application form and return it to Joanna Dawson electronically at ubc.mentorship@bccba.org or by fax to UBC, Faculty of Law Career Service at (604) 822-9486.   Kindly return the forms as soon as possible.
