Law Alumni Association Awards
On April 30, the Law Alumni Association honoured some of UBC Law’s most outstanding alumni at an awards ceremony held in the Four Seasons Hotel Ballroom. Over 225 guests enjoyed entertaining and heartfelt speeches that paid tribute to the talents, achievements and contributions of this year’s group of award recipients.
Honoured with Awards of Distinction were Warren T. Wilson QC, Sue Paish QC and Leonard T. Doust QC. Research Awards were received by Professors Susan B. Boyd and Dr. Pitman Potter. The Young Alumnus Award was presented to John-Paul Boyd for his many accomplishments, including his work in Family Law. All award winners received an original print created for the Law Alumni Association by celebrated Nuu-chah-nulth artist Joe David
