UBC Law Graduate Program

Graduate Student Resources

UBC's Place and Promise strategic plan positions the university as an institution that "creates and advances knowledge and understanding, and improves the quality of life through the discovery, dissemination, and application of research within and across disciplines." Graduate students are understood as an integral part of this vision.

At UBC Law, graduate students have a graduate student common room and a dedicated computer lab with stunning views of the water and mountains. The computer lab contains eight workstations and a laser printer. PhD candidates (students who have completed their course work and defended their dissertation prospectus) will have access to dedicated carrels.

UBC Law also provides students with conference and research travel funding.

The Faculty of Graduate Studies provides many additional supporting programs for graduate students, including the Graduate Pathways to Success Program.
