UBC Law welcomes applications from PhD graduates for postdoctoral positions.
General information about working as a postdoctoral fellow at UBC is available through the Postdoctoral Fellows Office. Please also see the Postdoctoral Fellows Handbook.
All postdoctoral fellows require a full-time faculty member as supervisor. If you have not identified a supervisor, then please review the faculty member profiles to identify faculty members who are working in your field of interest and contact them to ask if they might be prepared to act as your postdoctoral supervisor.
Funding
UBC Law does not have funding for postdoctoral fellows. However, UBC does administer a number of awards for postdoctoral fellows. Please visit the Postdoctoral Scholarships, Awards & Funding page for further information. All applications for UBC-administered awards must be submitted through the Graduate Program in Law.
