Profile

Albert McClean has been Professor of Law since 1968. Professor McClean served as Dean of the Faculty of Law from 1971-76 and was Associate Vice-President, Academic, of the University of British Columbia from 1985 to 1995. He joined the Faculty of Law in 1960 as Lecturer and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 1962 and Associate Professor in 1966.

Professor McClean has been a Visiting Fellow at the University of Michigan and Lecturer at the University of Southampton. From m1984-94, he served as Editor of the Canadian Bar Review. Professor McClean’s teaching subjects include: Advanced Real Property, Equity and Trusts, Property and Restitution. He has authored numerous publications.
