Time and Law

The 15th annual interdisciplinary legal studies graduate students' conference
MAY 6 & 7, 2010

ClocktowerWelcome graduate students!

For current graduate students who wish to present, our call for papers and registration form are now available under Quickfind at the top right of this page.

The theme for the 2010 conference is Time and Law. It is the 15th anniversary of the UBC law graduate students' conference and we invite you to reflect upon both time and law and the many ways in which the two intersect.

Join us to:

  • Present a paper
  • Chair a panel
  • Or just come to celebrate the program

We are pleased to announce Stéphane Beaulac, Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Montreal, as the keynote speaker for the 2010 conference: Time and Law.  Further information about Professor Beaulac's varied and fascinating career can be found under the "Keynote Speaker" link on the right.

The venue is confirmed to be Green College, here on the UBC campus (see "Accommodation", top right), and the conference program is now available under "Timetable". We look forward to two days of fascinating presentations, passionate debate, and good company!
