11th Annual Interdisciplinary Legal Studies Graduate Student Conference
MAY 4-5, 2006
Celebrating more than a decade of vibrant exploration of postgraduate study in law, the UBC Faculty of Law proudly announces the 11th Annual Interdisciplinary Legal Studies Graduate Student Conference, entitled Whose Law? Why Law? This year's conference theme is based on the desire to explore the invocation of law as a tool for dealing with contemporary and future problems. The conference will showcase the work of several scholars, both from law (at the LL.M. and doctoral levels) as well as from other disciplines whose work involve law or otherwise raise questions with significant implications for the legal field. The interdisciplinary approach to this event facilitates the creation of a unique forum to challenge common academic perceptions of law and its conventional parameters.
Registration
You can now register for the conference. Delegate registration must be completed by April 26, 2005.
