Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada

The Honourable Irwin Cotler, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, will visit the Faculty of Law on Tuesday, March 2, from approximately 1:15-2:30. He will meet with students, faculty, and members of the media in Rooms 101/102.

The format of the event will include a substantial discussion period between five of our students and the Minister regarding key issues confronting the Department. The student panel will include Rahim Moloo, Patricia Cochran, Adam Kaminsky, Ardith Walkem and Elin Sigurdson.

We are honoured that the Minister has chosen UBC as one of the locations for his discussion sessions with law students across Canada. We encourage you to participate in this important opportunity.
