UBC Mediation Moot

The Fifth Annual UBC Mediation Moot which recognizes excellence in mediation advocacy was held November 17th, 2003 at the offices of sponsoring firms, KPMG and McCarthy Tétrault. In addition to the generous support of the sponsor firms, this moot relies upon a large number of lawyers and professional mediators who volunteer their time to ensure an excellent and realistic event. Each of the 33 participating students this year was paired with a lawyer coach who provided valuable guidance in preparation for the event. First year students participate as volunteer clients and gain valuable experience in mediation through their involvement.
