Outside the Classroom

Law school is much more than classes and seminars. It also offers incredible opportunities to get involved outside of the classroom.

Law Students' Legal Advice Program
LSLAP is a student-run organization that provides legal advice to those who would otherwise not be able to afford such assistance. LSLAP operates student-staffed clinics throughout the Lower Mainland area.

Competitive Mooting Program
The Faculty of Law offers students the opportunity to participate in a number of competitive moot court programs. Students are selected to participate by faculty on a competitive basis. Grades and performance during annual try-outs are considered.

Student Government
All undergraduate students enrolled in the faculty of law are members of the Law Students' Society (LSS). The LSS represents students on academic issues such as curriculum reform and faculty hiring; organizes social events such as the annual boat cruise and bar societies; and also facilitates and funds student sport teams and clubs.
