- Classroom space will be modernized and expanded by almost 20%
- A spacious central student services and support area will create an inviting atmosphere for current and potential students
- At the centre of the building, a three story forum with retractable seating will serve as a large auditorium and informal gathering space for student, faculty and alumni
- A new functional research space will promote collaborative research and will physically integrate visiting scholars
- Space allocated to clinical programs will increase
- Central, publicly accessible client meeting space will be available for students providing legal aid
- The state-of-the-art law library will benefit the entire province
- With an estimated 50 - 60 % in energy savings, the environmentally sustainable design will meet LEED Gold standards, and will include shower facilities for bicycle commuters
