UBC Law Alumni Association
An active Law Alumni Association provides graduates with an opportunity to continue their involvement with the Faculty after they have completed their studies. In addition to various social activities, the UBC Law Alumni Association sponsors two annual events. The Distinguished Speakers Lunch takes place in the fall; past speakers include Brian Burke, Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin, and UBC’s President Stephen Toope. In the spring the Law Alumni Association hosts the Alumni Achievement Awards, which honours the success and accomplishments of some of UBC Law’s most outstanding Alumni. Events are often organized for Alumni outside of B.C. as well. Alumni and other members of the legal and wider communities have been and continue to be very supportive of the Faculty.
